One of my clients, owner of a two houses, sold the house to his tenant and asked me to arrange and modernize the house and arrange all things not in compliance with the inspection carried out (normal practice in the case of sale of a house ) and the requests of the new owner.
A job of a full month with the use of 3 people besides me.
The house is built on 4 floors.
The work that has been done and the following:
arrangement of all the notes that emerged during the inspection.
installation in the living area a special plasterboard counter to isolate the part of separation of the two houses.
On the fourth floor in the patio, construction of a new raised wooden floor and painting.
Removal of small tile walls and drywall closing
Paintings of all walls and mobile doors, replacement of all faucets, toilets and bathroom accessories.
Various changes in kitchen furniture for the inclusion of new appliances.
Replacement kitchen sink and installation of new faucets, one for normal water and one for purified and refrigerated water.
Installation of a new extractor hood and creation of the pipe to let the fumes out.
Installation of new handles on all doors and furniture.
Installation of chandeliers, new smoke and fire detection system, thermostats and accessories.
Installation of a new ceramic floor on the ground floor and new black space.
I asked for the intervention of an electrician I know to check all the electrical system and make some changes, as required by the inspection.
Installation of new appliances and creation of two new sides for the refrigerator.
Creation and installation of a wooden frame in a mirror and shelf in the master badroom mirror.
Installation of bookcases, curtain poles, and various accessories.
The work was completed as scheduled and agreed upon, both my client and the new owner were happy with the job, which is very rewarding.
So many times you do not need to do great things, but you just do well what you can do and do it with passion ………….
